HCMC MOU cooperated with Incheon City to establish the Center of start-up Support
NTTU – in the afternoon of 18th July, 2017, HCMC Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan had a meeting with Mr. Jegal Won Young, Incheon City’s People’s Council Chairman (Korea) sign a cooperation agreement about these areas: economics, culture, society, and establish the Center of start up support in HCMC.
In the afternoon of 18th July, 2017, HCMC Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Thien Nhan welcomed and had a meeting with Mr. Jegal Won Young, Incheon City’s People’s Council Chairman (Korea).
Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan presented that in the past years, HCMC had established diplomatic relations with many regions of Korea. This time, HCMC’s people’s Council had signed a Minute of Cooperation and established a friendly relationship with Incheon City’s Council, conducted cooperating exchange about economics, education, culture to celebrate the 25th anniversary of international relationship establishment between 2 countries. Through that event, Mr. Nhan wanted Incheon City to share its experiences about hi-tech training, the method of aviation management, urban transport system, researching and creating activities of students, introducing typical corporations, especially is the Korean Center of start up Support in HCMC.
This was a milestone remarking a great cooperation between HCMC and Incheon contributing to deepen the strategy cooperating relationship of Vietnam and Korea, through which enhancing the friendship between HCMC and Korean regions to a new stage.
Before that day, on 18/7/2017, Mr. Jegal Won Young and delegations from Incheon City also had a visit and working session with Board of Director of NTTU. To make the cooperating relationship become greater, both sides have signed a minute called MOU to cooperate in areas such as culture; academic exchanges; facilitate to support the development of startup projects of students from NTTU and Korean universities.
In that crucial event, Assoc. Prof., PhD. Nguyen Manh Hung, Principle of NTTU, on behalf of the Board of Director, had given the certificate “Professor Emeritus” to Mr. Jegal Won Young, Incheon City’s People’s Council Chairman to express the appreciation towards the love he has given to the university.
