“Industrial Revolution 4.0 and the Education 4.0”: NTTU’s determination to innovate comprehensively the education

NTTU – At 8:00 a.m. on the morning of 28^th July 2017, bet365 soccer Bấm để vào trang web chính thức ’s Board of Directors had a seminar about “The Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Education 4.0” in order to equip the lecturers, support staff the knowledge of industrial revolution 4.0 and its impact on aspects of life, especially on education.

In order to equip the lecturers, support staff the knowledge of the impact of industrial revolution 4.0 on various aspects of life, especially on education, board of directors of NTTU organized the seminar “The Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Education 4.0”.

The program took place at 8:00 on the morning of 28^th July 2017 at hall 9, An Phu Dong campus, with the presence of the Board of Directors, Board of Management, and more than all faculty and staff.

The chairperson of this seminar was Prof. Nguyen Dac Hung, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Vocational Training Department (Central Propaganda Department), a man very passionate with educational innovation oriented by education 4.0. After spending a long time researching on the development trend of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and its impact on the fields of social life. Prof. Hung is also the author of the book “The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Problem of Vietnam Education”, which was released in early 2017.

Education 4.0 model is a smart education model, linking universities – managements – enterprises together, bringing IT advancement to university in order to improve educational efficiency helping teaching and learning take place everywhere and anytime. University with education 4.0 standard is not only a place for training, research but also a place for innovation, promoting students’ start-up spirits, improving work efficiency to meet the demand of development of Vietnam in the context of the fourth industrial revolution.

“In the face of the dramatic impact of modern scientific technology, tradition universities are bound to change in their training and scientific research to avoid the risk of being left behind, especially they have to switch to training model “what the market needs”. The connection between educational institutions and enterprises is extremely urgent, and at the same time strongly enhances the training facilities in enterprises to share resources and share responsibility for training national human resources.”, Prof. Nguyen Dang Hung shared.

According to Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Manh Hung Principal of NTTU, in the trend of industrial revolution 4.0 NTTU would be the university that links with enterprises, has a responsibility to meet the demand of human resource from the ongoing industrial revolution. NTTU student after 4 years of studying would have not only the diploma but also 4-year experiences.

With the determination to comprehensively innovate education, on 20^th and 21^st July, NTTU held an international conference “University 4.0 model – A framework for 21^st century education” with the participation of more than 150 delegates who were reputable university leaders, professors, researchers from prestigious universities from various countries, namely: Germany, Taiwan, UK, Spain, Korea, France, Malaysia, USA and Vietnam… The program was very successful and highly appreciated by international delegates in terms of organization and development strategy.
