NTTU – In the morning of 16th April 2017, the opening ceremony and Qualifying National Round for Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship (MOSWC) 2017 began simultaneously in three major cities – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang – with the participation of more than 1000 candidates. The HCM city-division contest took place at Hoa Sen University with the participation of more than 400 candidates from the southern high schools, colleges, and universities. MOSWC is a great chance for Vietnamese students to approach and practice informatics skills according to international standards to improve productivity at school or at work. | Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship is a well-known global competition about informatics skills organized by Certiport Corporation in the US. In Vietnam, the 2017 MOSWC is hosted by IIG Vietnam with the primary fund from Microsoft Corporation. It is nation-wide and consists of two rounds: Qualifying National Round and Final National Round.
The unique point of this year competition is the limitation to only Microsoft Office 2013 with 3 categories: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. he Final International Round in Anaheim, California, United States from 30th July to 2nd August 2017.
